KT and SK Telecom officially stated their standpoint that there is no compensation sales plan for iPhone 4 and Galaxy S.
Recently KT brought out the price cuts policy for 3GS iPhone and the users of iPhone 3G have been demanding compensation sales to KT ever since.
KT has an installment succession plan called 'Shocking Again-Change the Device'. This service is the way that users can change a mobile phone by carrying forward the existing terminal payments without penalty and then 6 months of the rest contract period will aggregate on the new contract. However, the service is only targeting the users remaining 6 months of obligations contract. According to KT since iPhone 3GS has released at the end of last year, the succession plan is not valid to the 3GS owners technically.
And SK Telecom is in the same page with KT. The newest phone from Samsung, Galaxy S is going to release by SK Telecom and the compensation sales plan won't be applied to it. Unfortunately the users of Galaxy A and iPhone 3GS might have to accept the reality.
