Mercedes-Benz official dealer Han Sung Motor said on Sept. 30 that its CEO Ulf Ausprung won the grand prize in the social contribution category at the "2019 Korea's Most Trusted CEO Award" ceremony co-hosted by the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) and the Dong-A Ilbo on Sept. 27.
The grand prize has been awarded to the CEOs who realized sustainable corporate growth, and the award was based on evaluation items on leadership, management activities, performance and social responsibility.
Ulf Ausprung was highly praised for continuously operating Han Sung Motor's signature social contribution program "Dream Picture," gaining trust from customers and organization members and realizing sustainable growth of company.
The Dream Picture Scholarship Program, which began in 2012 with 20 scholarship students and 20 mentors, is an art scholarship program that selects and supports middle and high school students who have artistic talents and dreams but need financial support.
Han Sung Motor doubled the number of scholarship students and mentors to mark its 30th anniversary in 2015, with 40 scholarship students and 40 mentors currently operating.
"We are pleased to be recognized for the value of Han Sung Motor, which is trying to contribute to the development of talent in the future generation," said CEO Ulf Ausprung.
