Samsung Reveals The Company's Vision Up Until 2015

People Gathered To Hear Samsung

Samsung SDS announced their plans to further develop the company until 2015. They plan to reinforce overseas enterprises and set a goal of earning KRW 9 trillion in sales by 2015. Reaching this standard will earn the company KRW 1 trillion in profits. On the evening of June 15th, Samsung employees gathered at Suwon's ICT Center to discuss the company's future visions and to create a synergy amongst the employees. There were approximately 500 people in attendance, but there was a live broadcast for the employees who were unable to visit.

At the event, President Kim stated, "We are going to develop the areas of consulting, NSI(Network & System Integration), SIE(Smart Infrastructure Engineering), ICT outsourcing, BPO(Business Process Outsourcing), ICT infrastructure and ICT solutions. He also stated, "Samsung SDS must become a ICSP(Intelligent Convergence Solution Provider) and must be innovative, creative, sustainable, and proactive."

The vision also includes improving the consulting areas, SIE, and ICT solutions and increasing the annual average by 20%. Also, they plan to increase the number of executives and staff member from the current 11,700 to a total of 18,000. 7 keywords that were stated to achieve this vision by 2015 were smart, convergence, mobile, cloud, contents, green and ubiquitious.
