NCSOFT(NC) will start pre-Character Generation of its new mobile MMORPG 'Lineage 2M' at 12 a.m. on October 15.
Pre-Character Generation will be held on Lineage 2M's official website. Users can create a class, and character name of characters that will be used after Lineage 2M is released. There are a total of 100 servers capable of creating characters.
Users who create characters can also form a blood alliance. Depending on the number of Blood Alliance members gathered before the game's release, they can be rewarded. Users receive five production boxes for mini games when they create or subscribe to a Blood Alliance.
The mini game will be played by experiencing Lineage 2M's new class and production and reinforcement systems. Users can acquire various game items in advance, including a "hero weapon box," by using points collected while enjoying mini games.
NC released a video introducing Lineage 2M's flagship class. There are a total of four types of original classes - "Ghost Hunter," "Arena," "Thor" and "Reggina," which were featured in the original Lineage 2. Users can enjoy the appearance, unique play and combat motion of each class. The costumes for "Ghost Hunter" and "Arena" inherit the design of the famous defense ball in the original.
Lineage 2M surpassed 5 million pre-orders in 32 days. It is the fastest game that has been pre-booked in Korea. Currently, the most pre-orders record in Korea is 5.5 million units achieved by Lineage M. Prior reservations will be made on the official website and the two major markets (Google Play, Apple's App Store) until the official release of Lineage 2M. Pre-orders can receive game items.
NC plans to release Lineage 2M sometime during the fourth quarter of this year.
