Asiana Airlines achieved the top spot in the aviation sector on Oct. 15 for the sixth consecutive year in the "Korean Customer Satisfaction Index (KCSI)" for the Korean industry in 2019.
The KCSI, organized by the Korea Management Association of Consulting (KMAC), is a comprehensive index that shows customers' satisfaction with each industry's products and services in Korea, and it has announced brands that customers prefer after an objective evaluation every year.
This year's survey on customer satisfaction in the "aviation sector" was conducted on men and women aged 18 to 65 years old who used airlines in Seoul and six metropolitan cities over the past year. The survey period lasted about four months from April 22 to August 23, and the interviewer visited the households to conduct a one-on-one interview.
As a result, Asiana Airlines was selected as the top airline customer satisfaction rating for six consecutive years from 2014 to this year and has topped 22 out of 25 evaluations since it began evaluating the aviation sector in 1995.
In the latest evaluation, Asiana Airlines received high reviews from its customers for introducing new aircraft, strengthening its competitiveness in the field through the deployment of the right places, and expanding its network of routes.
In fact, Asiana Airlines introduced three next-generation A350 and one A321NEO this year to strengthen its competitiveness in both short and medium and long-range areas.
