Doosan Infracore said on Dec. 12 that it will participate in the Vietnam International Machinery Fair (VIMAF) to be held at the Ho Chi Minh Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) from Dec. 11 to 14.
Under the theme of "The Power to Move Vietnam," Doosan Infracore, which operates the largest exhibition hall (225 square meters), will exhibit five-ton, 14-ton wheel excavator tires and major engine parts for six engine types, including new electric engine models for vehicles, called DX12 and DX22 models.
Doosan Infracore ranks second in Vietnam's excavator market with a cumulative market share of about 23.5 percent in October. In 2017, it entered Vietnam's engine market on full-scale, starting with engines for CNG (compressed natural gas) buses.
It has been focusing on securing additional customers and partners by signing contracts with Vietnamese commercial vehicle companies such as SAMCO and TRACOMECO to supply bare chassis and engines for buses.
In July, the company also established an engine training center to provide engine-related information and technology education to customers in Vietnam.
