SK Telecom has opened “5 GX Experience” Hall at Incheon International Airport in South Korea.
SK Telecom introduced the 5 GX Experience hall at East and West sides of the Second Terminal Duty Free Area at Incheon International Airport on Dec. 18. Each of them has five experience spaces such as 5 GX vision, SK Telecom History, 5 GX experience, AR zoo, and 5 GX AI life and an outdoor garden with “Giant Cat” structure.
Each experience space has been designed in the form of a lounge so that airport passengers can naturally experience 5G and ICT services and baro roaming while taking a rest.
In particular, users can enjoy 5G hyper-sensitive media such as “Virtual Social World” that allows them to create avatars in 5G virtual world and perform variety of activities such as mini games, watching movies, and other popular VR rhythm games called “Beat Saber.”
At the 5 GX AI Life, one can directly control and use AI speakers, OTT service wave, and music service flow as if they are at “Smart Home.”
SK Telecom has been preparing for the 5 GX experience hall since it signed a business agreement with Incheon International Airport in October to apply 5G trial service. SK Telecom established 5G network at Incheon International Airport so that it can use 5G services such as AR and VR comfortably.

"With the opening of the 5 GX Experience Hall, we will spread South Korea's competitive edge in ICT such as 5G, AI, and super-reality media globally. "
