On Dream Global Academy students left for the United States for field trips to international organizations and international NGOs on Jan. 6.
Since 2017, Hyundai Motor’s Chung Mong-koo Foundation has been working with Korea University’s Ilmin International Relations Institute (IIRI) to run the "On Dream Global Academy," an educational program that supports the dreams of international organizations and students wishing to enter international NGOs.
For the academy, where students of various majors and interests, including education, health, economy and law, are gathering together with the same goals to create synergy, the foundation offers real benefits with full funding for education and subsidies for international organizations.
Seventeen out of 85 students, including 30 who will be completed in February this year have made inroads into various international organizations around the world, including the UNCCD, UNOWAS, UNDP, ICRC, UNECLAC and ADB.
In an era of growing demand and interest to become a global leader, students are continuously applying to participate in the course, which has been rumored to be a quality curriculum.
The Jan. 6-17 field trip will be held at U.N. headquarters in New York and Washington, D.C., UNICEF, United Nations Development Program, World Bank Group and International Monetary Fund.
