A blockchain security project called Sentinel Protocol Dapp has been added to Samsung Blockchain Wallet, an encrypted money wallet that is installed in Samsung Electronics’ smartphone Galaxy.

Sentinel Protocol Dapp refers to an app that identifies the opposite person's wallet address when transferring cryptocurrency and helps the person determine if he or she has involved in crimes related to cryptocurrency.

It has a principle of matching somebody to let him or her know if there is a problem by matching cryptocurrency blacklist data held by the protocol and the opposite person's wallet address.

In addition, Samsung Electronics added the decentralized business transaction platform, “Origin marketplace” and the wallet dedicated to Ethereum, “Token pocket”.

Samsung Electronics is also stepping up efforts to nurture blockchain talent. Along with “Decent,” it established the internship-linked blockchain educational program, “Founders,” to foster the blockchain ecosystem. It will be free and open for two weeks from Feb. 3 to 14.
Samsung Electronics installed its first ‘blockchain wallet’ on Galaxy S10 that was released in March of last year.

The company revealed Samsung blockchain key store SDK at Samsung Developer Conference (SDC) 2019 held in California, the U.S. in October last year, starting to expand the ecosystem in earnest.
