Com2uS held the 'Summoners War Championship 2019' (SWC 2019) World Finals on October 26 (local time in Paris) in Paris, France.

Mobile game company Com2us (CEO Song Byung-joon) said on Feb. 12 that its fourth-quarter revenue of 121.6 billion won ($100 million), operating profit of 33.2 billion won ($28 million), and net profit of 10.1 billion ($10 million). Its sales and operating profit in the fourth quarter of this year increased by 4.7% and 6% respectively compared to the third quarter of this year.

Com2us posted annual sales of 469.6 billion won, operating profit of 127 billion won, and net profit of 110.9 billion won ($93 million) in 2019.

Com2us recorded an operating profit of more than 100 billion won in a row through its strong global performance of its flagship Summoners War, the annual best performance of its baseball game lineup, strategic M&A and various investment partnerships.

It is enhancing its competitiveness on the global stage by gaining nearly 80 percent of its total sales from overseas markets, including in Western countries such as North America and Europe.

In 2020, Com2us plans to make a new leap forward by continuously expanding its Intellectual Property (IP) and tapping into global markets through active M&As.

It is preparing to launch a number of new lineups including "Summoners War: A Hundred Years' War," "Summoners War: Chronicle," "Heros War: Counter Attack" and "Birdy Crush."

The company is planning to produce ‘working dead’ IP-based mobile games in collaboration with Skybound, a global multi-platform entertainment company. It is also expanding its business area to various content areas by introducing story-gaming platforms.

In addition, the company plans to further strengthen the Summoners War, which achieved 2 trillion won in accumulated global sales last year, and expand global e-sports competitions and mobile game brand contents businesses.

It plans to add graphics, motion enhancements and real-time battle systems to enhance the realism of the baseball games such as "Com2us Professional Baseball" and "MLB 9 innings."

"We will continue to create strong game IPs that are recognized in the global market by focusing on our own development and global services and making strategic investments," said a Com2us official. "Based on this, we will also become a global IP company that moves the global content industry through various business expansion."
