Hana Bank said on Feb. 24 that it will launch a smart ARS service that combines voice ARS guidance with mobile screens to make financial transactions easier for senior citizens and foreign customers.
The smart ARS service allows users to view and listen through intuitive design and concise menu configuration, check the details of transactions, check exchange rates, and trade overseas, thus improving the inconvenience of having to listen to and press down on comments on voice ARS.
The service supports letters and voice in seven languages, including Vietnamese, Indonesian, Cambodian, Mongolian, Myanmar, English, and Chinese, in the latest increase in overseas remittances by foreign workers. In addition, recently used transactions are implemented so that they can be entered directly from the main screen, increasing accessibility.
"Smart ARS made convenient financial transactions possible by providing older customers with more familiar access to mobile and native language text and language to foreign workers," said Han Joon-sung, vice president of Mirae Financial Group.
Smart ARS automatically runs when users install "visible ARS" in their Play Store or App Store to use smart ARS (available from Galaxy S6, Note 5, G3 or higher, and IOS 6 or higher) and call Hana Bank's customer center.
