Asung Daiso, a household goods store, delivered traditional goods to students of the K-Pop special class at Southeast Whitfield High School in Georgia, the U.S., to herald Dokdo and Korean culture on the occasion of the 101st March 1 Independence Movement Day.

Asung Daiso has decided to support the goods to high school students in the U.S. after hearing the news that Korean high school students of the “I Love Dokdo Korea” gathering make exchanges with the American students who have a keen interest in the Korean culture and Dokdo.

Traditional Korean products consist of seven goods necessary for daily life such as bookmarks carrying the Korean-style design, portable mirrors, and ballpoint pens.

Along with the goods, the Korean students delivered a letter written in English introducing the independence movement of the Republic of Korea and Dokdo story to the American students.

Asung Daiso and the “I Love Dokdo Korea” gathering hope that the U.S. students of the K-Pop special class will play a role in heralding the Korean culture and Dokdo to other students in the high school.

An official of Asung Daiso said, “On the occasion of the 101st March 1 Independence Movement anniversary, we are very glad to engage in such activities heralding the Korean culture and Dokdo to foreign students. We will do our best to promoting Korean culture and Dokdo.”
