Netmarble said on March 5 that its mobile RPG <7 Deadly Sins: GRAND CROSS>, released on March 3, has entered the top 10 list of Apple's App Store in 47 countries worldwide, with 1.3 million downloads just one day after its global launch.
The game ranked seventh, second and sixth in app store download rankings, respectively, in the United States, France and Germany, major Western markets, as of 15 p.m. on March 4, according to mobile app market analysis site App Annie.
Among Asian countries, it topped in Taiwan, Hong Kong and Singapore and made a soft landing in the global market at the beginning of its launch, ranking second in Mexico and fourth in Brazil.
It is also currently doing well in sales rankings. According to the mobile index, it currently ranked fourth in Taiwan in the Apple App Store, fourth in France, second in Hong Kong, ninth in Thailand, seventh in Singapore and 25th in the United States.
Thanks to the early box office success in the global market, the accumulated number of downloads of the Grand Cross has also surpassed 7.77 million worldwide, including those of Korea and Japan.
Netmarble on March 3 launched the mobile RPG <7 Deadly Sins: GRAND CROSS> in 170 countries around the world, excluding some countries such as South Korea and Japan.
The game has been highly anticipated since its launch, with more than 2 million players in the global preregistrations that began from Jan. 16.
