The 3D TV market cannot avoid a fight

It seems like the fight for 3D TV around KJK (Korea Japan and China) is inevitable. Samsung has been leading the market for 3D TV. But lately Sony jumped into the 3D TV market to challenge Samsung and they proudly introduce themselves as the only company who is capable for all 3D solutions. from content creation to watching.

Sony is the first foreign company selling in the domestic 3D TV market. Sony will release the 'Bravia LX 9000' officially on July 22 and started pre-merchandising from the first day of July.


In addition, the next biggest market after the US, Chinese TV enterprises such as TCL and Hisense also stand in the line for 3D TV. About this, Samsung plans to cope with the situation with a full lineup of 3D TV products. Also since they widened the gap between competitors during the last 6 months, they are pretty much confident about the next followers. Samsung has dominated the 3D TV market in and out ever since they showcased the 3D TV, 7000, 8000 series. And the newest model, super slim 3D TV, HD 3D LED TV 9000 series, is getting popular in the global market.

At the same time, the last runner of 3D TV, China is going to release various 3D TV models to keep up with previous runners, Samsung and Sony.

Supposing industry people predict that sales of 3D TV will surpass one million and reach 2.6 million this year. It means there is a big competition for 3D TV preempted for this year.
