Netmarble announced on April 7 that its North American subsidiary Jam City has officially released its mobile game "Disney Emoji Blitz" in Japan.
The game is a combination of collection elements in the three matching puzzle, featuring more than 2,000 Disney, Pixar and Star Wars characters.
Gamers can clear the stage to carry out missions and win game rewards, collect emoticons such as Disney's "Frozen," "Aladdin," "Micky Mouse & Friends," and Pixar's "Monsters, Inc." and "Toy Story."
To commemorate the upcoming launch in Japan, Jam City will unveil its spring season "Winnie the Pooh" emoticons and present various events for the month of April.
"I'm happy to officially release Disney Emoji Blitz in Japan, the world's No. 2 mobile game market," said Chris DeWolf, CEO of Jam City. "I hope we can give Japanese Disney fans a fun experience with its attractive art style, cute emoticons and lively gaming."
"Disney Emoji Blitz" was released in 2016 and has surpassed 30 million downloads worldwide. It also achieved great results by recording more than 20 billion plays.
