Netmarble announced on April 13 that the PC version of its North American subsidiary Kabam's mobile simulation RPG "Shop Titans" will be officially released as a Steam free download game in May.
It is a game that produces and sells equipment for heroes, and was released in 12 languages in 150 countries around the world through Google Play and Apple's App Store in June last year.
The "Shop Titan" PC version, which will be released in Steam in May, supports "synchronous cross-platform play," allowing users to continue playing with the same account on both PC and mobile devices. In addition, teams can be formed with separate accounts generated from each device to perform more powerful multiplayer.
The steam version also offers a play environment that takes advantage of the PC platform. It supports improved graphics with full HD resolution and game play of 60 frames per second, and allows more sophisticated control using input devices such as keyboard and mouse. Also, interface optimization was done considering the characteristics of PC platforms that play for long periods of time compared to mobile devices.
Gamers can develop a variety of equipment through Shop Titan's extensive item-making system, and experience activities such as negotiating with customers to sell and exchange products. Gamers can team up with various heroes from 18 different classes to explore dungeons and acquire collections or rare trophies for building powerful equipment. Based on the guild system, it may work with other users to further expand its business.
Kabam CEO Tim Fields said, "Both existing and new users of Shop Titan can enjoy more diverse plays through various advantages of PC versions such as synchronous cross-platform play."
