Doosan Infracore has signed a series of contracts to sell articulated dump trucks (ADT) in Saudi Arabia and Poland, a company spokesman said on April 13.
Doosan Infracore signed a contract with a Saudi Arabian builder to sell 10 ADTs. It is a large order equivalent to half of Saudi Arabia's annual ADT market.
Earlier in the day, the company also signed a deal with a coal aggregate company in Poland to sell five ADTs.
ADT is a large dump truck that is mainly used in rugged areas such as mines and quarries. Doosan Infracore's products are characterized by their stability and grip power as they can distribute load weights across trucks by applying a special refraction system.
Doosan Infracore has been enhancing its sales and product competitiveness to expand the ADT market. Since 2015, it has provided Doosan Care, a service solution for leading local builders, and conducted intensive management activities in Saudi Arabia.
Doosan Infracore also rolled out new products with durability, improved suspension and anti-overloading systems to strengthen its ADT lineup. Five new models won in Poland this time are the new models. It plans to grow ADT sales by more than 20 percent on-year this year.
