Kabam, the North American subsidiary of Netmarble, is working with Disney to develop a new mobile action RPG called "Disney Mirrorverse,” a Netmarble official said on April 20, adding that the game's release schedule will be unveiled later.
"Disney Mirror Guardians" is an action RPG game featuring all the more powerful evolved popular characters from "Disney" and "Pixar," set in "Mirrorverse," a new world that fans of the original film have never experienced before.
In the game, exclusive characters newly designed to fit the worldview of "Mirrorverse" appear. Gamers should form a strong team of guardians to protect the world from evil forces that threaten the "Mirrorverse."
Kabam CEO Tim Fields said, "Kabam is a game that explores a new world and makes stories with various characters. It will bring various popular characters from Disney and Pixar to one world and present them as completely new forms of heroes. I plan to work closely with Disney to provide a more immersive and attractive adventure."
Sean Shoptaw, senior vice president of Games and Interactive Experiences at Disney Parks, Experience and Products, said, “I am pleased to work with Kabam to introduce the new world to users. Disney Mirror Guardians is a bold reconstruction of the famous characters and stories of Disney and Pixar."
He also said, "I hope the new adventure of the game will appeal to Disney fans as well as to RPG fans. I want to introduce a new world beyond "Steallar Mirror" as soon as possible."
Before its official launch, the game will conduct beta tests in the Philippines.
