Churches can receive offerings by the church's self-developed smartphone application without any service fees.

On June 23, Harex InfoTech Inc. (Park, Kyung Yang, CEO), UBpay (User-Centric Mobile Payment Shared Platform) Service Provider, announces that the company signed a partnership agreement with Yoido Full Gospel Church, currently, the largest megachurch in the world with more than 830,000 members to provide easy mobile offering services (powered by UBpay)starting in July 2020. Without using a separate mobile pay app, all church members can easily give offerings using their church app.

The simple offering service(powered by UBpay) through the mobile app is a first in religious applications. This service, which allows simple &easy offerings through the app, is introduced at a time when there is a perception that the method of giving offerings needs to be changed as online worship spreads amid the current COVID-19 crisis.

Up till now, some large churches have entrusted payment agencies such as ARS payment and phone banking to make offerings available on church websites or mobile apps. However, there have been problems. For example, the payment agency fee is expensive. It is inconvenient for church members to key in their names and offerings every time they give offerings. It is also inconvenient for the church to check and manage the offering items and amount of each church member.UBpay solves all those problems.

UBpay, a user-centric mobile payment shared platform, which has no middlemen in the payment process reduces the cost of the mobile offerings service for the church. Moreover, since UBpay’s easy mobile offerings service is added to the Full Gospel Church app as an in-app module, church members can conveniently give offerings without leaving the church app, and the church can take advantage of simplified management of their member's church offerings without any service charge.

Harex Infotech Inc. explained, “The easy mobile offerings service(powered by UBpay) has a wide range of applications.” “It can be used for paying donations via mobile devices is not only online but also brick and mortar venues such as chapels and charity events.” “The service is also automatically extended into mobile payment when using adjacent facilities of any religious gatherings, such as coffee shops, restaurants, convenience stores, bookstores, etc."
