On April 4, 2019, the “Beresheet” spacecraft successfully managed to complete the Lunar Orbit Insertion maneuver, making Israel the 7th country to reach the moon and SpaceIL the first privately funded organization in the world to do so. As the organization is preparing for it’s the second journey to the moon, SpaceIL has decided to boost its cybersecurity with Konfidas, the leading Israeli Managed Cybersecurity Service Provider.
Konfidas provides tailored global managed security services to SME’s. These services include 24/7 monitoring, regulatory services, real-time Incident response, and more. Konfidas will provide the service with SentinelOne, a leader in an autonomous AI endpoint security platform (EDR) and with Automox, leading patch management, security configurations, and endpoint orchestration system.
Kfir Damari, SpaceIL Founder & VP, said: “This is an important step in providing the best conditions for our next mission. As a private high-profile Israeli organization, I suspect we might be exposed to cyber-attacks. With SentinelOne and Konfidas, we have one less thing to worry about.”
Konfidas’ managed security services partners, Automox and SentinelOne, had contributed to a successful cybersecurity pilot with SpaceIL, which has evolved into an ongoing agreement between the two.
Ram Levi, Founder & CEO of Konfidas, said: “We are proud to be a part of such an innovative, groundbreaking initiative. As we witness more and more states using cyberattacks as a political weapon, our mission is to eliminate cybersecurity threats that might be harmful to SpaceIL’s next mission.”
