India welcomes Korea's aid in expanding its fixed and wireless Internet broadband networks. Choi See-jung, the head of Korean telecom regulator met with India's telecom secretary, PJ Thomas, in New Delhi on February 19 in Oberoi Hotel.
Both representatives attended a forum under the name of 'Korea-India Convergence of Broadcasting and Communications' where Choi was quoted in the KCC statement as telling Thomas that Korea will provide its WiBro, DMB, IPTV and other technologies to boost India's broadband networks.
