Clair Go-eun Chun, the Managing Editor of the Korea IT Times, first started her journalism career as a freelance commentator with Pacific Times / KQED, a pubic radio broadcaster, in 2002.  Soon after Clair joined the Korea IT Times she gained residency at the Ministry of Information and Communication, which has now become part of the Ministry of Knowledge and Economy.  As our Managing Editor and resident reporter at the Ministry of Knowledge and Economy, Chun Go-eun focuses exclusively on governmental policy directions and CEO interviews.

The fast developing electronics and IT industries are growing faster than Jack's beanstalk. In fact, it would be more accurate to classify this growth as an evolution: the change from Neanderthal to Homo sapiens. The same applies to smartphones. Better doesn't mean lighter anymore. The value of a buyer at an exhibition is similar to that of the export value of two mid-sized cars. The costs a buyer incurs as hotel fees, service fees and transportation fees are approximate in value to that of an export. The government of cities such as Las Vegas, Berlin and Barcelona provide free public transportation and adjust concert dates of orchestras during exhibitions in hopes of creating a close relationship with the buyers.

The Broadband Commission is organized by ITU (International Telecommunication Union) and UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation).

From electronic shelf labels to NCCM programs to iPhone applications; it was certainly a 21st century digital age extravaganza which would remind one of the song 'Video Killed the Radio Star' by the British group The Buggles.

With great fanfare and applause, the World IT Show 2010 was opened on May 25, 2010 at the Coex Hall, under the theme of "Feel IT, See the Next." The 3rd World IT Show was co-hosted by the Ministry of Knowledge and Economy, the Korea Communications Commision and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. President Hwang Joong-yeon of KAIT called the event "the highlight of the newest technology, innovation and convergence landscapes," and "the unparalleled, one-stop IT event in Korea."
