"Angry Birds" is one of the most successful mobile games in history, and now the game will be coming out on the traditional game console. The game is currently being worked on by the company Rovio, which owns the popular iPhone and Android mobile game. Currently, the report is that the game will be coming out next year for the Xbox 360, the Nintendo Wii and Playstation 3.
911 emergency call

The U.S. government is looking into allowing text, photo and video from mobile phones for the 911 emergency service. They are trying to bring the 911 emergency service "into the 21st century" by upgrading their current service to allow these commonly used cell phone features.

There is a new game console available and can be played on high-definition televisions. OnLive, a gaming-on-demand company, introduced a new game console in which they say offers "awesome quality and state-of-the-art specs." This new gaming console can be pre-ordered and shipped in December at the price of $99 USD. A major selling point of this "micro-console" is that it is very easy to install. There are reports that beta testers were able to open the box and begin playing games under 3 minutes.

One of Apple's original computers, the Apple 1, will be on sale at an auction in London, England. It's price is estimated to range from 161,600 to 242,400 USD.

The computer is quite pricey, but it is one of the original computers Apple co-founders Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak built in 1976 in Job's family garage. At that time, they completed their product and sold it for 666.66 USD.

Apple will be closing down their iTunes Connect, the online system that shows new applications to its digital store, from December 23 to December 28. The digital store will be closed during this time so new applications will not be available during this period. However, existing applications can still be purchased and downloaded during that time frame.

On Wednesday, a New York judge ordered Limewire, a popular data-sharing program, to stop distributing it's file-sharing software. Judge Wood of U.S. District Court in Manhattan stated that Limewire "intentionally encouraged direct infringement" and also "marketed itself to Napster users, who were known copyright infringers."

There have been reports that AOL is considering a takeover of Yahoo. Although it is not confirmed yet, there are some reports that AOL is thinking about taking over Yahoo with the help of private equity firms.  In the beginning of the day, Yahoo's stock soared 6 percent and ended the day with a 4.5 percent increase and a 15.93 USD stock price.

On Wednesday, Apple's stock price exceeded 300 USD for the first time in their history, largely due to the success of the iPad and the iPhone. The shares of Apple reached 300.51 USD per share a few minutes after the opening bell. By the end of the day, the share was closed at 300.14 USD.

Their plan is to become a "content company," and to shed their reputation as the Internet service provider, which they once were popularly known for.  Just last week, they made news by their three new acquisitions of blog network TechCrunch, online video distributor 5Min Media and social-media company Thing Labs.

On Wednesday, Motorola Inc. announced that they have filed three complaints against Apple over alleged patent infringements in their popular wireless and mobile devices. These complaints were filed with the International Trade Commission as well as in the Northern District of Illinois and the Southern District of Florida. The complaints allege that Apple's iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch and some of their computers infringe on Motorola's patents in the areas of antenna design and other smartphone technologies. In the complaint, Motorola alleges that Apple has infringed on 18 patents.

AOL said on Tuesday that they are going to acquire the technology news blog TechCrunch in hopes of bolstering it's growing online editorial business. AOL was once well known as an Internet service provider, but they have shifted their gears in hopes of reviving their reputation as a hub for online news. The deal to acquire TechCrunch was finalized at a TechCrunch news conference, and will now add to AOL's technology coverage, which already includes the gadget blog Engadget.

However, it has been reported that it will be capable of functioning in both 3G and 4G networks. An industry analyst has stated that Apple will switch suppliers of a critical silicon element for their new iPhone.

Just this week, somebody has created another real time search result for the popular video sharing website Youtube.

Google, the most used search engine, has introduced Google Instant, which suggests results while the user is typing. As a user is enters the subject in the search box, Google Instant displays a list of suggested pages which is updated with every key stroke. If a user sees the site they are looking for on the list of suggestions, they don't even have to finish typing or hit the "enter" key. If you find this feature to be distracting, it can be disabled.
