TV logic(82-70-8668-6611 / www.tvlogic.co.kr), a video technology and broadcasting equipment specialist, has released the world's first 15-inch professional OLED monitor, the LEM-150, causing a stir in the industry.
The world's first broadcasting monitor made with OLED panels, the LEM-150 has many benefits that were not available in LCD monitors. For instance, the self-emitting OLED does not require a back light, therefore it is thin and light. The high luminance makes it brighter than normal displays and the high contrast ratio of 100,000 to 1 provides clear contrast at any viewing angle. The wide viewing angle, at 180°, offers a consistent picture quality regardless of the viewer's angle to the screen and the color does not become distorted when the display is viewed any angle. It is also worth noting that the monitor offers a clear and dynamic picture in any environment, thanks to its fast image response. It has a low energy consumption rate, because only the bright areas require energy.
TV Logic is also planning to introduce the 'VFM-056W', a new 5.6-inch viewfinder monitor, at this year's Korea Electronics Show. The VFM-056W has a screen resolution of 1280x800 and weighs less than 0.3kg. It is resilient and heat-proof, using a magnesium emission system case. The monitor offers various features, which are unavailable in the existing viewfinder monitors, such as a Y level check, wave form, vector scope, range error, and focus assist. Ergonomically designed, the VFM-056W will set a new standard for viewfinder monitors, providing the optimum solution for filming, such as indoor and DSLR shooting.
