The 2011 Korea Electronics Show has opened today at KINTEX in Ilsan, Gyeonggi Province under the auspices of Korea Electronics Association (KEA) with the theme "Be Smart". The opening ceremony was attended by more than 500 dignitaries, including Vice Minister of Knowledge Economy, Vice Governor of Gyeonggi Province, President of LG, President of Hynix, Chairman of Korea Display Industry Association (KDIA), and Chairman of KEA.
At VIP tour, VIP visitors and the foreign buyers tried to experience all new technologies and gadgets available on the show floor. The fast developing electronics and IT industries are growing faster than Jack's beanstalk. In fact, it would be more accurate to classify this growth as an evolution: the change from Neanderthal to Homo sapiens. The same applies to smart gadgets. Better doesn't mean lighter or mobility anymore. Better means smartness of a device that increases the efficiency of our daily lives.
Massive influxes of developments such as 3D, smart applications, and smart electronics are shown at KES 2011. "Exhibitions give us a sneak peek inside the most trendy and wanted technology with opportunities to experience them even before they are introduced into the market," said Yun Jong-yong, chairman of the KEA as he experienced every gadgets during the tour. KES 2011 lasts until this Saturday.
