October 18th, Choi Jun-yeong, President of Korea Polytechnic University, held the Smart Gyeonggi Forum in order to improve the quality Gyeonggi-do's research, and discuss ubiquitous computing systems and other topics in technology. The conference was made up of approximately 20 members who are experts in IT, including Dr. Yang Jae-soo, the Governor's Advisor of Gyeonggi-do, Gang Chung-Hwan, unit leader of LG U-plus, Kim Sang-Mo, director of Southern Kyung-gi Corporate Business Center, Ph.D. Paik Eul-Sun, professor of Kyung-gi University, Monica Chung, publisher of Korea IT Times, Kim Su-Hwan, CEO of KATACOM, among others, in the president's room. They discussed how to vitalize the Smart Gyeonggi Forum and the agenda for the next seminar.
After the conference they toured the High Value PCP center, and the Digital Convergence Technology Engineering House, containing exciting new high tech research and design. The forum concluded with dinner , an excellent time to discuss how the innovation might be applied in real world situations.
