SEOUL, KOREA --- Chois Technology (CEO: Choi Soon-pil; www.choistec.com) is a young venture company with dreams and hopes for opening the future through wireless technologies, and conference peripheral devices. Since its foundation in 2001, the company has focused on RF-interface devices for PC such as a RF presenter and a RF PC remote control.
X-pointer, released in January 2001, was designed to help control the PC – without an assistant - during presentations through RF communication, and it was the first technology of its kind in the world. And in October 2004, the company introduced X-remocon that allows remote control of a computer without being interrupted by a wall or other surroundings.
In addition, Chois Technology has secured a sales platform for the X-pointer, with more than 10 regions including the US, Europe, Australia, Japan, Russia, and South East Asia, since 2004. This product is now widely used at major corporations, public institutions, schools, and even hospitals, after openly adopting the local demands of the importing countries.
Apart from RF, Chois Technology is taking part in home network logistics and national security as well, having developed the network-support active technology sensor that forms the basis of the RFID and USN markets in Zigbee. The company’s recent development of a presentation app for smart devices signals the expansion of their next-generation user interface business.
Currently, Chois Technology is leading the market through development of various wireless products and ubiquitous interface technologies.
XP350Magic, or ‘XP350’ in short, is one of the main products of Chois Technology. It is a multi-function wireless presenter that has adopted features like battery check and optical finger mouse touch as well as magic key–a convenient feature that enables XP350 to be used as a multi-purpose remote control by saving the shortcuts of programs frequently used by the user.
Battery check informs the users when to change the battery, minimizing the inconvenience due to unexpected discharge, while optical finger mouse touch was designed to help freely point the mouse just by a slight movement of the fingertip.
Moreover, this product can be used without the interruption of other wireless or Bluetooth devices from as far away as 30m, thanks to the 76 multi-channels. Another remarkable feature of XPM350 is in its design that allows a micro-receiver to be stored within the transmitter in order to prevent loss of the receiver.
Launched during the second half of 2011, the XPM145 adopted an orange laser that is as twice brighter as the conventional red laser, drawing more attention from the audience during a presentation.
In addition, the features of the XPM145 include battery check and magic key– the former notifying users of the time to change the transmitter battery in order to minimize the inconvenience due to sudden discharge, while the latter is a convenient feature that enables the XPM145 to be used as a multi-purpose remote control by saving the shortcuts of programs frequently used by the user.
The sophisticated design with a black pearl plating further enhances user satisfaction.
