Samsung ECO_join the ecofamily

SEOUL, KOREA --- A relatively new company it may be, as it was established in 2009, the Lab is an experienced group made up of only team-manager-level members with 6-10 years of experience, showing consistent and solid output.

The Lab covers diverse and extensive range of businesses: from basic 2D and 3D graphic design to multimedia interaction including UI/UX, APP, Microsite, motion graphics, and installation.

The trend found in all the promotional tools in the current advertisement and marketing markets can be summarized as the integration of interaction and multimedia. Each project can be progressed in isolation and, at the same time, all sections can be converged as one project. The Lab is one of the few companies that can provide consultations and results that suit the diverse and complex needs of customers and the market trend.

Apart from small and major commercial and promotional videos in the motion graphic division, the company has created the Japanese commercial for LG Optimus Pad, and Samsung Electronics ECO as well as LG Optimus relay video.

Furthermore, The Lab, who has been developing online and offline interaction based on Flash Action Script, has produced Korea’s first interaction movie this year that embraced new image tracking as a new trend for brand advertisement.

 Interaction movie is a form of advertisement in which users can integrate their own image into a ready-made video, and the created video then becomes a viral tool, when uploaded on a social network site, blog, or email, maximizing the effect of the advertisement. The Lab has produced a total of four interaction movies from Hyeonbin’s Philips commercial to Yu Inna’s Gillette, Jung Yonghwa’s Hazzis, and Winsor. Also, the whole production process including shooting, design, and interaction development, is planned and directed within The Lab, which is another huge merit to the company as they can offer a consistent contact point and output.

Based on such results, The Lab developed the installation contents for Samsung Shop in Moscow this year. The contents for smart table, PC, TV, smartphone, tablet PC, and printer that the company designed and developed based on the UI/UX also feature “All Share”.

Users can instantly share the contents by dragging and dropping a file from the screen of a device to the desired device, and then resizing the content according to the device before being played. This feature was designed and developed for users to easily experience the All Share function of Samsung products.

Taking part in the second year of the “Interactive Digital Contents Development for Three-Dimensional Space Exhibition,’ a three year R&D project of Incheon IT Promotion Agency,  The Lab is providing a demonstration on the Rockwall of Subong Park this year, as they did last year at the Culture and Arts Center in Guwoldong, Incheon. This project, which is based on 3D media façade, added interaction elements to conventional media façade so that users can view additional information or production process of a video content by reading the QR code inserted in the content. 

These technologies can be utilized for the opening of various local cultural events, launching shows, or the Olympics, or as another effective marketing tool.

As their slogan “All of your Imagination” suggests, The Lab is producing advertisement contents that encompass both the online and offline marketing, showing a limitless possibility to stand at the center of the digital signage market in the near future.
