FL Technics Extends Its Cooperation With easyJet

VILNIUS, LITHUANIA- LithuaniaFL Technics, a global provider of integrated aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul services, extends its cooperation with the UK based low cost carrier easyJet, by signing the three-year agreement for nine Airbus A319 aircraft line maintenance at Manchester Airport and Newcastle International Airport.

Following the completion of a tender issued by easyJet, the second largest low cost carrier in Europe, FL Technics have extended the current line maintenance contract until 2015. According to the agreement, FL Technics, through its subsidiary Storm Aviation will provide line maintenance support for six easyJet Airbus A319 aircraft at Manchester Airport which is one of the busiest airports in the UK and Europe. FL Technics has also secured the easyJet base in Newcastle (the North East of England), where they will carry out maintenance works for three easyJet Airbus A319. At the same station FL Technics already serves two other major operators – Emirates and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines.

‘Retaining the existing clients is no less important than attracting new ones and the fact that easyJet has decided to extend our partnership speaks volumes about the quality FL Technics services. In order to maintain our clients’ trust we are constantly developing our capabilities and services, by introducing even more improved maintenance solutions for both ‘classical’ aircraft like Airbus A320 family or Boeing 737 and the modern ones like Boeing 737 Next Generation,’ said the CEO of FL Technics Jonas Butautis.

FL Technics holds all the EASA certificates required for integrated narrow and wide body aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul services: EASA Part 145 (Maintenance Organisation Approval), EASA Part 147 (Maintenance Training and Examination Organisation Approval), EASA Part M (Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation Approval) and the newly obtained Part 21 (Design Organisation Approval).

Based in Vilnius International Airport, FL Technics provides technical services for the industry classics such as Boeing 737 CL, Airbus A320, SAAB, ATR 42/72, Bombardier CRJ and Embraer 145, as well as for the modern generation aircraft types such as Boeing 737NG/747/757/767/777 and Airbus A330/A340/A380. The company offers its customers comprehensive and tailor-made solutions for technical aircraft, engine and component support, engineering, technical training and landing gear overhaul. FL Technics operates 2 base maintenance facilities in Lithuania and Ukraine, as well as operates a network of 32 line stations open 24/7 across Europe, the CIS, Africa and Asia-Pacific.
