SEOUL, KOREA - A pink-colored Galaxy Note 2 was released in Taiwan. The model is not available in Korea. Samsung Electronics announced on February 7 that it has released a pink Galaxy Note 2 in Taiwan.

This is the fifth color for Galaxy Note 2 after white, black, ember brown, and ruby wine. Ember brown and ruby wine colors have been added last month. The newly added color was Martian pink, the same as the one adopted for Galaxy S3.

Except the color, other hardware specs are the same as the ones available in Korea. The pink-colored Galaxy Note 2 features a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED HD display and supports Android operating system Jelly Bean.

It is primed with an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 3,100mAh battery. Galaxy Note 2, which made a global debut in September 2012, passed the 5-million mark in global sales.
