SEOUL, KOREA – AppDisco’s mobile advertisement application “Adlatte” has hit 5 million downloads. Releasing new reward services such as Latte Screen and Latte Game, AppDisco is set to break into the global market this month. Launched in August of 2011, Adlatte (a mobile reward-based advertising application that allows users to earn Latte Points by watching ads and to buy products or get paid back with real money when a certain amount of latte points is accumulated) has surpassed the five million threshold in just one year and six months.
AppDisco is currently keen to enter the global market. Adlatte is scheduled to come into service in Singapore on February 18; in Malaysia and Hong Kong at the end of this month; and in Australia and Vietnam in March. To that end, AppDisco has set up local subsidiaries in the US, Hong Kong and Australia. Furthermore, AppDisco will take part in the Mobile World Congress (MWC), slated to be held in Spain at the end of this month, to explore ways to make inroads into the EU market.
