SEOUL, KOREA – Korean mobile carrier LG U+ offers “u+tv G Text and Call Notification Service” for the subscribers of “u+tv G,” a program that combines the No. 3 mobile carrier’s existing Internet Protocol (IPTV) service with “Google TV” services.
“u+tv G Text and Call Notification Service,” which pushes text messages and incoming call alerts to u+tv G subscribers’ TV screen in the form of pop-up messages, can be accessed by installing the latest version of u+tv G app “one-touch play” and updating the “one-touch play” installed in the u+tv G set-top box.
With the introduction of this new service, u+tv G subscribers have no need to worry about missing an important call or messages whilst watching TV, since this notification service syncs their phones’ texts and calls to TV in real time through pop-up messages, which will appear in the right bottom of the screen for 10 seconds.

LG유플러스가 IPTV와 구글TV를 묶은 `u+tv G` 서비스 고객 편의를 위해 스마트폰으로 전화 혹은 문자가 오면 TV 화면에 알림 메시지를 표시해주는 `u+tv G 전화알리미` 서비스를 개시한다.
`u+tv G 전화알리미`는 u+tv G 이용고객이 자신의 스마트폰에 u+tv G 전용 애플리케이션인 `원터치 플레이` 최신 버전을 설치하고 u+tv G 셋톱박스에 설치된 `원터치 플레이`앱을 업데이트하면 스마트폰으로 수신되는 전화나 문자를 TV화면에 표시해주는 서비스다.
u+tv G 이용고객이 집안에서 휴대폰을 진동모드로 두거나 충전 중인 경우 휴대폰을 확인하지 않더라도 전화와 문자를 시청중인 TV화면 우측 하단에 팝업 알림 메시지 형태로 10초 동안 확인할 수 있다.
