SEOUL,KOREA - GM Korea announced on May 8 that it started receiving pre-orders for its brand-new city car model Spark S and will launch full-scale sales from May 16. The company developed the new model to celebrate the fourth anniversary of its mini-car Chevy Spark.
The Spark S achieves an improvement in driving performance and indoor silence by employing a GEN2 gasoline engine and C-TECH power train. The 1.0-liter gasoline GEN2 engine adopts a silent chain drive, thereby realizing improvement in durability and reduction in noise.
The DCVCP (Double Continuous Variable Cam Phasing) technology contributes to improving both engine efficiency and fuel efficiency.
The Spark S is also mounted with MyLink infotainment system that makes a 7-inch touch screen display interlock with a rear camera and smartphone, thereby enabling users to make phone calls and listen to music.
