SEOUL, KOREA - Kia Motors set the name of the facelift model of its mid-sized sedan K5 as The New K5 and plans to launch the pre-order sales for the facelift model from June 3. The New K5 is appointed with the driving mode integrated control system as a basic option, thereby enabling drivers to select one in the three driving modes—sports, normal and eco.
The New K5 has also reduced the noise substantially as it adopts an anti-noise glass and an indoor carpet made of special noise insulation materials. Its interior and exterior design boasts a sporty and elegant look. The New K5 adopts an LED fog lamp, first among Korea's mid-sized sedans. The New K5 is also primed with LED rear combination lamps, radiator grills, and wide-front bumpers.
Its indoor design features a black high glossy center fascia and a newly developed steering wheel that is designed to ensure easy steering control.
The retail price starts from 20.25 million won—21.95 million won for 2.0 gasoline Deluxe, 23.5 million won for Luxury, 24.7 million won for Trendy, 26.45 million won for Prestige, 27.85 million won for Nobless, 27.95 million won for 2.0 gasoline turbo GDI Prestige, and 29.95 million won for 2.0 gasoline turbo GDI Nobless.
