The second-generation model of Google's Android tablet PC Nexus 7 is set to be released in Korea. Google Korea announced on August 26 that it will release Nexus 7 16-GB and 32-GB Wi-Fi models in Korea at a price of 329,000 won and 369,000 won, respectively.

The Nexus 7 2013 version is 2-mm thinner and 50-grams lighter than those of its first-generation model, thereby improving portability. Previously, Google had launched the same model in the United States in July. The Nexus 7 is primed with the highest display resolution among tablet PCs, with its pixels per inch estimated at 323. The Nexus 7, accordingly, is optimized for enjoying contents like movie and games.

Mounted with Qualcomm SnapDragon S4 Pro Quad-core Processor, the Nexus 7 boasts two times faster speed than its previous version, while being capable of realizing dynamic 3D graphics.

The Nexus 7 is also mounted with the latest Google Android OS Android 4.3 (JellyBean), with a 5-megapixel camera. Preorders can be made through the online shopping malls and offline stores such as Lotte Mart, Hi Mart, Shinsegae Mall, Auction, E-Mart, and E-Mart Mall from 11 am of August 26.
