Product Overview
Xener Systems's industry-leading Softswitch (X-SSW) provides efficient communications internally controlling third-party platforms and interfacing with other softswitch networks, leveraging industry-standard VoIP protocols such as SIP, SIP-T, H.323, MGCP/H.248 and more. The X-SSW'softswitch is a modular design with flexible system configuration as a class 4 and/or class 5 softswitch with SIP, H.323, MGCP and Megaco interfaces. Included within the X-SSW, are the X-MGC'media gateway controller (for MGCP and Megaco) and the X-GK, gatekeeper (for H.323). The X-GK, is also available separately as well. The X-SSW, interoperates seamlessly with legacy IN (Intelligent Network) services and applications, providing built-in IN CS2 based SSF technology to support interfaces with SS7, SCP, PSTN and PLMN networks using SIGTRAN.
The Xener Video Gateway (X-VG) functions as interworking bridge between heterogeneous video networks. For example, the packet-based wireline network or wireless network adopts SIP/H.323 as a standard protocol for video telephony, while circuit-based 3G wireless network using 3G-324M. The X-VGprovides capabilities to provide interworking between those packet-based video service networks and the circuit-based network, differentiating itself in such features as its service- oriented architecture, reliable protocol transformation and various physical network interfaces.
Xener XIP, (eXtended Intelligent PBX) is a feature-rich communication platform that helps enterprises to transform their networks into the next generation enterprise telephony environment. The XIPfeatures a broad range of IP-based applications to maximize corporate productivity and efficiency by establishing virtual, mobile and multimedia offices. Built upon SIP technology, which is designed to fully accommodate IP environment, the XIPcan easily deploy packet-based applications such as multimedia communications and IM/PSbased services as well as unified messaging.
The XIP also provides hundreds of telephony functions of legacy PBX system including voice conference call, call transfer, call pickup, call back and so on. The XIPis also characterized as highly secure communication platform by adopting latest security technologies like TLS and IP Sec. The XIP, provides NAT traversal solution, using its proprietary technology, for branch office and remote workers.
Combined with Xener's own SIP SoftPhone solution, the employees can access to their corporate VoIP network from anywhere in the world via Internet connection. The XIPalso enables web-based, rich communication by providing User Portal, Management Portal, Click-To-Call services and so on. In 2006, Xener has participated in series of IP PBX benchmark tests conducted by Korean 070 ITSP's including KT, SK Networks, LG Dacom, being qualified in all of those tests.
Market Focus
Xener's primary market is Korea, but the company has also been successfully expanding its sales into South East Asia, including Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Pakistan. It claims to be the dominant softswitch provider in Korea having delivered soft switch solutions to seven out of eight VoIP service providers.
