Domestic sales of SM3 totaled 6,269 units in the January-April period of this year, with the monthly sales averaging at between 1,500 and 1,600 units. If the current sales trend continues, the monthly sales are projected to exceed the 2,500 level this month.
A Renault Samsung official said, “Consumers are showing more favorable responses to new designs like those of SM3 Neo.”
Renault Samsung is now engaged in family look (design integration) process for major models. To benefit from the rising popularity of QM3 which has been imported from Europe, Renault Samsung applied the same front design to QM5 and SM3.
