SEOUL, KOREA - LG Electronics has set the release price of its brand-new smartphone G3 at 800,000 won level.After negotiations with telecom service companies, LG Electronics has fixed the release price of the G3 at 899,800 won. The G3 is scheduled to be released on May 28.
This price level is higher than Galaxy S5’s 866,800 won but lower than the 900,000-won level expected by the market.The G3 is now expected to be mounted with a 5.5-inch QHD (1,440 x 2,560, 4 times higher than those of HD) screen, first in Korea, and a 3-GB RAM.
LG Electronics plans to show off the G3 at its headquarters in Yoido in Seoulon May 28 where businessdignitaries and journalists will be invited to participate.The G3 presentation events will also be held in London, New York, San Francisco, Singapore, and Istanbul on the same day.
