SEOUL, KOREA - Samsung Electronics revealed its brand-new premium tablet computer Galaxy S Tab which will be released throughout the world gradually from next month. The company held the Samsung Galaxy Premier 2014 event at Madison Square Garden in New York on June 12 where it unveiled two types of Galaxy Tab S.

 

The Galaxy Tab S is available in two varieties—10.5 inches and 8.4 inches. With a Super Amoled display (2560 x 1600), the Galaxy Tab S has the screen ratio of 16:10 and the contrast ratio of 100,000:1.

Both the two Galaxy Tab S models will be released in two versions—LTE and Wi-Fi. They will use Exynos 5 Octa or Qualcomm SnapDragon 800 2.3-GHz Quad-core as the application processor, while supporting 3-GB RAM, 16/32-GB internal memory and 128-GB micro SD card. They will be mounted with the Android KitKat 4.4 operating system. 

The 10.5-inch model will have a 7900-mAh battery, while the 8.4-inch model a 4900-mAh battery. Two colors will be available—titanium bronze and dazzling white.
