ILSAN, KOREA - The Inside 3D Printing Conference & Expo, the leading B2B tradeshow for the 3D printing industry, continued its world tour, which kicked off in New York early last year and will cover over eight nations further down the road, in S. Korea on June 12 -13, 2014.

The Inside 3D Printing Conference & Expo 2014, South Korea’s first trade show solely dedicated to 3D printing, was held at KINTEX, Ilsan, enjoying heavy traffic throughout its two-day event. It attracted nearly 8,000 visitors from approximately 20 countries, ranging from businesspeople, investors and international buyers to entrepreneurs and journalists. It shed light intensively on 3D-related exhibits: companies in and outside S. Korea showcased their non-industrial, industrial 3D printers, 3D scanners, 3D software, 3D studios, rental services, government R&D (research and development) projects, etc. Furthermore, a total of 19 international conference sessions, attended by 19 world-renowned 3D printing experts and legal practitioners, were held simultaneously.

Bloomberg TV, a US-based business and financial news network, described the Inside 3D Printing Conference & Expo 2014 S. Korea as a shock-and-awe festival showing South Korean people and companies’ ardor for 3D printing. “The Inside 3D Printing Conference & Expo 2014 South Korea featured more companies and a wider range of products than did the 3D printing pavilion, put up at the CES 2014, held in Las Vegas early this year. And I was impressed by the sheer number of event participants. Besides, influential international buyers paid a visit to booths,” an official from an overseas company said. Since the end of the Inside 3D Printing Conference & Expo 2014, myriads of bloggers have been busy blogging about their hands-on experiences with the event.

Pulling off its first-ever show in South Korea this year, the Inside 3D Printing Conference & Expo is slated to take place in June every year at KINTEX. And the Inside 3D Printing Conference & Expo 2015 will be held for three days from June 24 -26 next year. “3D printing, a force that changes the preexisting paradigms of manufacturing, the law and culture, will continue to grow on the back of government support and rapid expansion of its user base. The Inside 3D Printing Conference & Expo will spearhead and expedite the global trend towards 3D printing,” said Phil Chung, CEM Head /Director of Global Business Affiliate Program Development & Destination Management at KINTEX.

“The Inside 3D Printing Conference & Expo 2015 will be an improvement on this year’s event, featuring more diverse lectures on 3D printing. We will invite a slew of world-renowned speakers, who measure up to the Inside 3D Printing Conference & Expo’s reputation as the world’s top 3D printing conference, said Kim Yeong-beom, a product manager on the Business Strategy Team at KINTEX. “It was pretty much rewarding to see lots of participating companies appreciably boost their marketing through their participation in the event,” mentioned Yoon Jeong-min, an exhibition product manager at KINTEX.
