SEOUL, KOREA - Mercedes-Benz Korea announced on July 21 that it will officially release a compact SUV GLA Class at the end of August.According to Mercedes-Benz Korea, GLA Class is its fifth SUV and 4th new compact car.
The GLA Class was revealed first at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show and showcased at the 2014 Busan Motor Show.
Mercedes-Benz will release two models—200 CDI and 45 AMG 4 Matic—which have superior features despite having a compact size. The retail prices for these models are set at 49 million won and 71.1 million won, respectively.
The GLA 200 CDI model has a maximum output of 136hp, while the GLA 45 AMG model has a maximum output of 360hp.AMercedes-BenzKorea official said, “Together with our existing A, B, CLA Class, the GLA Class will attract the attention of young consumers, plus the fans of our cars.”
