SUNNYVALE, CA., - Cortina Systems, Inc. (Cortina®), delivering innovative technologies that link people and networks worldwide, today announced participation with Oliver Solutions, the leading provider of SDN/NFV based management software for access networks, in the first chip-level interoperability of symmetric 10G-EPON devices based on DPoE specifications at CableLabs®.
Together with Oliver Solutions' DPoE software stack, the Cortina CS8124 10G-EPON OLT and CS8160 10G-EPON ONU devices successfully demonstrated end-to-end interoperability tests, including:
- Multiple LLID
- IPv6 based provisioning
- Non-secure firmware upgrade
- Customer VLAN and Service VLAN operations
- IP HSD
