SEOUL, KOREA - Daum Communications joined hands with Samsung Electronics to connect its SolCalendar and SolMail with the latter’s smartwatches.Daum announced on September 29 that its SolCalendar and SolMail apps will be connected with Samsung’s smartwatch Gear S.

SolCalendar and SolMail will be connected with the Gear S through Bluetooth. If you wear a Gear S, SolCalendar and SolMail will allow you to read emails or get alerts for important events.

A Daum official said, “SolCalendar and SolMail will help make the daily lives of users more convenient. We will make bigger forays into the wearable device market to create stronger synergy.”

SolCalendar and SolMail are utility apps developed by Daum’s global mobile app brand SolStudio.SolCalendar is now offered in 22 different languages in 203 countries worldwide. SolCaldenar supports both Google Task and Google Map, first among smart calendars.
