LG Display Supplies LCD Panels to Benz

LG Display is supplying Mercedes-Benz with LCD panels for its car navigation system. This is the first time the world-class carmaker has ever received supplies of Korean LCD panels for its luxury-brand car navigation.

According to the industry, Benz has recently begun receiving supplies of LCD panels for the navigation system of its luxury-brand E-Class model from LG Display. The Korean LCD manufacturer will supply Benz with about 80,000 LCD panels each month during the second half of this year through Continental AG, the world's fourth largest car parts firm in Germany.
