Florida’s strong sunshine, abundant rainfall, high temperature and humidity from the ocean produce the sweetest and juiciest grapefruit in the world. This unique climate contributes to thin skin of grapefruits, which may have some exterior blemishes, but also presents fully ripened on the trees with enough sunshine. As such, Florida growers like to remind their customers to not judge a book by its cover. That is why “There is Amazing Inside Florida Grapefruit”.
Florida grapefruit is harvested from October to April and typically available in Korea from November through May. The Three main varieties of Florida grapefruit by interior fruit colors are “Dark Red”, “Red (which has a pink color), and “White”. “Dark Red” and “Red” grapefruit are the most common Florida varieties exported to Korea. Florida “White” grapefruit is just starting to be introduced in Korea.
Grapefruit, which is the most essential food for Denmark Diet, contains high water content and helps you feel satisfied. Grapefruit is also fat-free and has lower calories than many other fruits so it is an ideal food for diets. Moreover, grapefruit is a good source of Vitamin C which helps support healthy immune system. You can get 100 percent of the daily recommended value of Vitamin C from eating only a half of grapefruit.
