Samsung Electronics’ Notebook 9 series which it started selling from the beginning of this year, are gaining popularity with its sales exceeding 80,000 units.
Samsung Electronics announced on March 15 that its domestic laptop computer sales rose by more than 10 percent in the January-February period of this year, primarily thanks to the rising popularity of its Notebook 9 series.
The Notebook 9 which has a weight of 950 grams is popular among university students and female workers. The series is an ultra-book model which has a thickness of less than 21 mm but its performance is not falling behind that of general laptop models.
Competition is heating up in the domestic ultra-book market as Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics both released a string of new ultra-book models this year.
