Korea's largest auto show Seoul Motor Show 2015 opened its curtain on April 3 at the KINTEX exhibition center in Goyang in Seoul’s northwest.
This year marks the tenth anniversary for the motor show which will run for ten days until April 12 under the theme of "Greet Technologies, Feel the Art."
Many dignitaries attended the opening ceremony, including Yoon Sang-jick, Minister of Trade, Industry, and Energy, Yeo Hyung-gu, Vice Minister of Land, Infrastructure, and Transportation, Nam Kyung-pil, Governor of Gyeonggi Province, Ahn Hee-jung, Governor of South Chungcheong Province, and Kim Jin-hong, Vice Mayor of Goyang.
As many as 190 companies, including 32 finished car brands, 131 parts and supplies makers, and 18 tuning specialists, are taking part in this year's motor show which has an exhibition area of 91,141 square meters, the largest in its history. A total of 57 new cars will be displayed, including seven which will be revealed here first in world, nine first in Asia, and 41 first in Korea.
