Samsung Opens App Store in Europe

Samsung Electronics has launched services of a Samsung Application Store, an online marketplace where applications for mobile phones can be transacted.
Samsung on Sept. 14 said it has officially opened its Samsung Application Store in the UK, France and Italy.
The electronics conglomerate plans to expand such services to 30 countries, including Germany and Spain. The Samsung App Store will sell various kinds of applications, including a Longman Electronic Dictionary, an Eyesight Test, and a Stress Remover, as well as high-profile games such as Sims Metropolis, Spiderman, and GTS Racing from world-class application makers such as EA, Gameloft, and Handmark.
