The 13th International Nanotech Symposium and Nano-Convergence Expo, Nano Korea 2015 opened yesterday at Coex in Korea and will run until July 3.
A spectacular example of creative economy, this symposium seeks to bring together key figures in academia and industry from within Korea and abroad to discuss the latest trends, from fundamental research to industrial applications, in the ever-expanding field of nanotechnology. Keynote sessions include Moon-sik Kwon, President of Hyundai Motor Group.
Some topics to be discussed are nanophotonics, nanomaterials, nanofabrication and processing, nanobiotechnology and medicine, nano energy conversion and storage, nano carbon technology, and nano safety.

This symposium and expo is co-hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning. Korea Nano Technology Research Society and Nano Technology Research Association organized the event.
