KT and LG Electronics together introduced the world’s first all-in-one desktop featuring IPTV on August 27.
The product is a new concept multi-player that allows users to enjoy both IPTV and PC at the same time with enhancing space utilization by integrating all of set-top box, main frame, monitor and speaker into one.
It provides olleh IPTV services with 220 TV channels and 160,000 videos. It also utilizes switching function from full HD IPTV to desktop just by double clicking olleh TV icon on the desktop screen using a remote control.
LG Electronics emphasizes the importance of collaboration with KT, the LG Electronics executive said that "the new product will gain popularity among single households, newlyweds and those who look for second TVs."
KT will start selling it next Monday.
